Battery issues after updating to Windows 10

My device, an Asus t100, could perform for 5-6 hours when I had Windows 8, but after updating to Windows 10 it has fallen to just 2 hours. The charging time has increased significantly too. Is this a software issue?

I haven't read any comments on this before? But, open settings - System - Battery and see if you can make some of the available suggestions and options there.

The thread is a little old, but it does seem that your particular model has had problems with battery drainage. Apart fro asking Asus (I see no feedback on that!), most of the recommendations in the link are as in MS own battery saving tips.
Puzzle to me though is: - Why only after the update from 8 to 10. Both OSs are reasonably similar in demand.

I've had the T100 for 3 years.
Either turn it off when not in use or turn off wifi before putting to sleep because Sleep has changed.
Now called Modern Standby.
