Boot screen switching between two different screens each boot.

One screen is a traditional DOS-like enumerated list of options with white text on a plain black background.

The other is a modern Windows-like screen with several boxes each containing an option and mouse support and is white letters and lines on a blue background.

Why is it doing this and can I tell it to always use the white on blue screen?

If I could see what you're trying to describe would be super helpful. If you have a mobile phone, take some pictures of each screen and then post them please.

What I think you referring to is the BIOS flash screen...but I'm not sure.
