Browser history

Have tried several times to delete browser history in settings. Turned unit off and on. History will not delete.

Which browser we are talking about, perhaps someone with specific expertise with that particular browser may be able to provide a possible answer to your question.

I guess you are going through the correct path, but, for me.

I click the top right icon with the horizontal bars
Select "Clear all History"
Tick off the items I need to clear
Click "Clear"
Gone.
