CD/DVD Drive Issue

My CD/DVD drive on my 2011 HP Pavilion Elite HPE yPC desktop PC won't open at all.

What should I do to resolve this issue?

Personally, I think it is BS that I can't even put in of take out any CDs/DVDs out of my CPU.

I would assume that there is a physical eject button on the face of the optical drive.
IF the device is not responding to your pressing the eject button, then I would suspect that the power connection on the drive is either loose, or disconnected.
Otherwise there may be a physcial problem with the drives electro-mechanical system and it has decided to fail.
