This has started appearing since my browser picked up yahoo? How can client connect ltd be removed?

Try downloading and running these three scanners (free versions).

JRT (Junkware Removal Tool) from here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/dl/131/
Malwarebytes from here http://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/confirm/
See if that gets rid of your issue with Search Protect by Client Connect Ltd. It's a PUP which probably was installed as part of something else you downloaded and installed.
