Code(28) Need help connecting my desktop to internet.

So I have been doing a lot of research and my pc does not show any options for Ethernet connection in the Network and Internet section. I went to device manager and am reading a code(28) and code(31). I just connected it through a Ethernet cable and i did not see any changes. Can someone please help me?

Hi Wyatt,

Welcome to the Forum.

Both of those errors indicate an issue with the Device driver.

• Right-click on the Device showing this error and select Uninstall driver
• When uninstalled, in Device Manager's tool bar at top of window click Blue screen with magnifying glass icon to scan for hardware changes. When it locates the Device you just uninstalled driver for, re-install the driver for it.
