configuration registry database is corrupt

This is a problem that arose suddenly after I having upgraded to W10 for for at least 4-5 months. The problem occurs each time a Windows update occurs. It originally had to do with updates to my monitor driver, but recently added the Microsoft wireless router module. I have run the sfc scan with no results, I bought the Reimage software which advertises as a solution to the error(x0800703f1) but it had no effect on the problem. I am looking for solutions and welcome any suggestions.

Sounds like you may have or may have had an infection.
Maybe first try some scans.....

Eset online scanner is a bit different than the others in that you need to either use
IE or download and run their smart installer if you're using another browser. Then tick
the radio button that says "Enable detection of potentiall unwanted application"
Then click the link that says "Advanced settings", then check all the boxes except the
one that mentions "Use custom proxy settings", unless of course you're using a Proxy
Server. Then just click "Start", it will do a thorough system scan so it takes a long
time.

I don't check the links above everyday, so if you have any problem with any one of them then just Google for the program name but use the site names that I have recommended since I'm relatively certain they are free of extraneous garbage.

I usually start with Ccleaner followed with TFC.....
Then JRT followed by ADWcleaner, then the rest saving Eset Offline Scanner till last to bat cleanup.

Afterwards, if problem persists you may want to attempt and in-place upgrade / repair
Upgrading Windows 10 by installing it over top of itself.

Once you have the ISO, you can use ImgBurn to burn it to a DVD or Rufus to burn it to a USB ThumbDrive, or simply mount the ISO from within Windows 10 and run setup.exe from there.
Choose upgrade and make sure the box is ticked to obtain updates as part of the upgrade process.
