SOLVED Creating Windows 10 Media stuck at 29%

Hi there, i am trying to get Windows 10 onto my USB so i can put on a new SSD card but Creating Windows 10 Media but the Progress just stops at 29%
Any advice on how to battle this as my card comes today and i need windows up and running.

You could try downloading the iso with the MCT then burning it to usb using rufus.

Would it matter if i have files already on the USB or not, as i need them also

I have Rufus now, but how do i burn the file to my usb, sorry for being dumb, ive just never done this before

I think a bootable USB for Windows has to be freshly formatted.

Yes you are correct i had to put the iso on a fresh USB. Thank you for the help

The MCT method does reformat the drive so I would imagine MR will also. I'd buy an 8GB, 16GB or 32GB for the purpose or at least copy the files from one to the other.
