Hi, Go to settings, system, default Apps, and select the one you want as default web browser.

The whole problem is that this prescribed route just does not work. It won't change from the current setting of Internet Explorer. I believe it will change to Edge (the preferred Windows 10 Browser), which I like even less than Internet, but doubt if that will then permit further change either. Some time ago I did find a method, perhaps by accident, which worked but I have now forgotten it and I am stuck. The reason I like Chrome is that the 'autofill' function seems better.

Try the old route. Right click the start orb and then the Control panel. You know the rest? Just select your favourite browser in the list and save it.

Many thanks Davehc for solving simple, but long standing, problem. Right clicking start worked.
