Default browser will not hold

i get a box telling me to set my default browser to the one I am using (Firefox). I click and follow and replace MS Edge with Firefox. All is well until I turn off my computer and turn it back on. Sooner or later, the box comes back and asks me again to set my default browser to the one I am using...
