Dell XPS won't wake from sleep or reboot

Have been having problems with the my Dell XPS desktop lagging and being slow to wake up since getting Windows 10. Today it won't wake at and black screen continues even after unplugging and forcing off with power button.

There seem to be quite a few folks getting a "Black Screen" on their systems. Not all black screens are alike so do you see anything on the black screen such as a blinking cursor in the upper left of the screen or the mouse cursor?

Are you able to use the F2 or F12 keys during boot?
