SOLVED Desk Top Disappearence

When I had first i nstalled Windows 10 I was able to see my Desk Top. Now it's nowhere to be found. How do I get it back?

After you dismiss the lock screen and sign-in screen, what do you see if not your desktop?
Are you not seeing your desktop icons? Are you not seeing a taskbar?
Some details might be helpful.

After the lock screen I go directly to screen with Windows where I can search the web or view tabs. Beneath that is a blank black screen. I have no start button either

Could you please
hold the windows logo key on your keyboard and tap the print screen key to capture your desktop.
That will place two new screen shots in your Pictures\Screenshots folder
Upload those two of the first screen and the second screen you are seeing to your next post by click the Upload a File button just below the reply box you are typing in.
