Desktop folders are gone after Windows 10 upgrade

hello,

I just clicked the Yes to do the automatic upgrade from Windows. The system said all of my files and folders would still be here when it was done. ALL OF MY DESKTOP FOLDERS ARE GONE... This had all of my family photos in them that I had just finished preparing in my Photoshop Program that is also No Longer on the computer.

I want my folders and my pictures back NOW!!!

Can someone Please help me!

Any chance they might be in the 'windows.old' folder on your C: drive? Look in the following path:
C:\Windows.old\Users\username\Desktop
