Disable Log On

Every time I start up or wake up my laptop it asks me to enter my pin number, my husband also has a dell laptop running windows 10 but his does not need any pin to enable using it, how can I disable requirement for pin.

I am not very technical so although I have looked on web and read all my books cannot find anything relating to this.

Tried link but after using it I had terrible troubled logging on it kept asking for my pin and saying it was incorrect and now the only way I can log in is to use the windows log in icon it offers as an alternative.

Followed instructions but they did say after un ticking box it would ask me to choose a password but it did not.

Any other ideas ?
