Driver for external GPS device

I have mapping software and a Dual XGPS160 external GPS. Windows 10 does not support the device. Both the mapping software company and Dual recommend I get a driver fromturboirc.com. However, whenever I download it my Norton security deletes it. Obviously, I can switch off the Norton security but it hardly makes sense to purchase security software and then ignore it. Does anyone have experience with this problem?

If there are no drivers on the sites Regedit says then have you tried downloading and installing with Norton turned off then while it is running turning Norton back on. If that works it may be the installer that Norton is unhappy about. You could do the above and run the installer as an administrator see what happens. Doesn't Norton have a way to make an exemption for a particular program.
