Edge Browser Crashes

Hello:

We upgraded our Windows 7 Pro, 64 Bit Desktop system to Windows 10 Pro today. Everything is working great EXCEPT for the Edge browser. For some reason the Edge browser will not stay open and crashes within 5 secs of a click on the icon.

We are using an NVIDIA K2000 QUADRO graphics card in this system.

Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be?

As well, we can't find IE on the system so we are left with Chrome or Firefox for web browsing.

Thanks

Ira

Hello Ira and welcome to the forum.
IE should be located in the All Apps menu, down in the "W"s, inside Windows Accessories. You can pin it to start and or taskbar from there.
As far as Edge crashing..... IDK.
I'd probably first run the native System File Checker.
From an elevated command prompt, type
sfc /scannow
give it a few minutes and see what it says.

I am having the same issue with an upgraded Windows 8.1 laptop. The Edge browser will load for about five seconds and then disappear from the screen. It will however load from a link and I am using it to view this forum. It will also crash if I try to load an additional tab by clicking plus sign.

I will now run the SFC.

The laptop is an HP Envy series with an Intel graphics 4600
