I keep getting this message telling me that JPEG files were going to the wrong place and it was rest to Photo viewer.
Fine. Put it anyplace you want, but stop dinning me with this error message which reappears as soon as I X it out. This is accompanied by an irritating sound. How do I get rid of this please?

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs
Click "Associate a file type or protocol with a program"
Scroll down to .jpeg and maybe .jpg also.
Select them in turn and click the "Change program" button at the top right and select which program you want to use.

Sounds a bit like you have a third party software program that is trying to be the default image viewer but may not be fully Windows 10 compatible.
