Excel has an STD

I installed an SSD in s desktop. Office 2007 started in with that always configuring at start. A little internet cruise and solution in place. Excel however still brings up the stdole32.tlb notice at start. I have tried everything I could find including regedit. Office repair, remove Excel reinstall. I don't want to remove all because of Outlook (pain to set up). I can live with it because click and it's gone. My question is exactly what causes it. Haven't seen a clear explanation.

Yes to all. I may have made an error along the way but nothing else has happened. I guess full reinstall of Office is what needs to be done. It's annoying.

Well a full uninstall and reinstall did it. I bet Microsoft sells a lot of blood pressure pills
