I hope this is the right place to post this. I did the upgrade to W10 on my Asus Zenbook. After a while (and after I removed windows.old) I experienced some problems and decided to revert to W8.1 to see if the problems persisted. I have tried to restore backups I made with Paragon Partition Manager but every time Windows will not start as it says I am missing or have a corrupt hal.dll.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
