Headset sound doesn't work after restart

Hello, Everybody

I usually leave my headset plugged into my laptop at all times. If restart or shutdown my computer the headset sound stops working. If I un-plug my headset and plug it back in again it works although this seems like a bug compared to past versions of windows where this wasn't necessary. It is a normal headset, It is not usb.
