Homegroup Problems

I am having problems with homegroup, it seems like it doesn't want me install a new password or app. I cannot find my homegroup on my computer, does anyone know how to fix the homegroup app and reinstall a new password. Thank you.

You may want to make sure that all your computers have left any previous homegroup that they may have been associated with "Leave Homegroup"
Then, on the primary machine you may want to run the Homegroup troubleshooter.

AND IPv6 is the backbone of homegroup so you want to make sure that it has not been unchecked or otherwise disabled and that your network has been set to private (discoverable) and not public.
