How can I transfer iphone videos to ipad?

How can I get the videos(mostly mp4 format) out of iphone and transfer them to ipad? they said copy the videos to computer and then transfer to ipad. But that didn’t work at all!!! I tried so many time but when iphone was pluged in there was no videos shown on the computer! Anyone help???

Just a comment, the only time I was tasked to do similar [3 months ago] was retrieving photos from an old iPad 2, had to download and install the latest iTunes on a Win10 Notebook, connect the iPad via its power cable [without the power modulle] and use the file manager in iTunes itself to do the transfer. Then I copied the photos to a USB Thumb drive. The old iPad didn't include a file manager and the version of iOS was too old to update.

I found that my wife's pics taken on an Iphone just appeared on the ipad. Not instantly but they got there.

I well believe that going via iTunes works as well and so it should.
