How to Install Windows on a New SSD

I want to perform a clean install of Windows 10 on a new SSD and make it the boot drive, while keeping my old 1TB WD hard drive as a storage drive. What is the best and easiest way to remove the old Windows 10 OS from the old hard drive? I'm not sure how to properly identify the OS files.
