Hello. I opened Defender because the taskbar icon showed it needed attention. It told me that an unwanted app (which was blocked} was still running on my computer which is a desktop running Windows 10. The apps name was 'Inbox Helper'. It stated that the threat was low. After running a full scan I was not able to remove it. I cleared the browsing history but didn't clear the app 'cache' because I could not find the app anywhere on the computer. Can anyone out there tell me how to remove this threat? Thanks in advance.

Try running malwarebytes https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/. If that doesn't clean it try adwcleaner (which is owned by malwarebytes and is a standalone program that doesn't need to be installed) https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/.
