Installing programs onto SD card - ASUS tablet

Hi,
I have tried the instructions given by Rohit Chettri on August 20, 2015 regarding the installation of Apps to an SD card but when I follow them (exactly!) I get a box with the message:
Cannot edit PackageRoot: Error writing the value's new contents.

I think that this is a safety mechanism built into my tablet and not my error.
Can anyone help please?
