SOLVED No Edge after installing update 1709

I installed update 1709 during October 2018 and have had no Edge since that time. I was told there would be update to fix this when it first happend but despite going back to Window 10 support nothing has happened and I am using Firefox.
Does anyone know if there has been a fix?
