Hi

Hope someone on the forum can help please.

My partner is sight impaired and uses screen readers to use her laptop. Currently I am using Bitdefender on her machine but the problem is pop ups from Bitdefender keep disrupting the screen reader. It stops what it is doing to read the pop up. I have spoken to Bitdefender about this and have turned off all notifications as they suggested but it has made no difference. It is really frustrating for her... I am going to ditch it!

Does anyone have any experience of an AV program or suite that truly and invisibly runs in the background ?

Any and all help greatly appreciated

Windows Defender might be a good choice. It barely shows up and if it does, it does it only in the notifications and not as a popup.
Its free and build in Windows 10. I am using it since I have Windows 10 and so far, it did not bother me at all.
