When I boot up Win10 I have setup for auto login. But most of the time it reports incorrect password(?) On the lower left screen area I have users listed as:

john doe
(e-mail address removed)

john doe
( there is nothing shown here)

Since the first choice is correct how do I remove the second john doe. Also the first choice is the only one listed in my user account setup.
Thanks

What you are describing is an issue that, in earlier versions of Windows 10, was sometimes produced by using netplwiz to auto-login.
I thought that this issue was corrected in later builds / updates.
Can you advise as to which version of Windows 10 you are currently running?
IS it 1607 (OS Build 14393.693) or greater?

Try going back and undoing your netplwiz change by rechecking the box associated with your user name and reboot and see if the second user disappears.

Getting back to this issue... I have all the current updates and still have the same issue even after "netplwiz" Only has my name listed in panel window. Not other users listed.
