Missing Volume Icon

Hello, all (from a slow senior)
'Lost my tiny speaker icon from my task bar. Tried hard but can't retrieve.
(Using Win 10)

 

[Trouble]

It's kind of convoluted so stay with me.
Click the Start Button and choose Settings
Click the System icon
Left column select Notifications & actions
Right pane choose the text that says Turn system icons on or off
"Volume" move the slider to "On"
That should do it
