Outlook 2007 - Mail gets stuck in outbox Only sing upgrading to win 10

Most things are have been fine in win 10 but for some reason outlook has decided not to send mail.
It is still downloading mail but the outbox is stuck.
I have checked the account settings. deleted the contents of the out box but nothing works.
Still can't send emails

anyone got any idea's please.

Open a command prompt as administrator and type sfc /scannow

Thanks just tried it but fault still there.
Don't fancy a fresh install of win 10 especially at the moment.
Have just had a look at the new mail app in win10 but ...... it looks horrible and I can't make out how it works !
Is it me or is are MS crap at interfaces?

what does the sync now icon do apart from make the contents of inbox vanish into the next dimension?

After my outlook stopped sending the Win mail also stopped working so looks likes like you might be getting the same, if you did an upgrade I wouldn't bother trying to fix it as a clean install fix's all and it runs so much faster, I am glad I did it as it so much better after, I know it's a pain but it's well worth it.

Sync now is supposed to do just that.........but I don't think the app is good, very clunky.

does it mean it syncs with your isp mail box?
