I need the .png .jpg at the end in order to finish a project I'm working on but they aren't there anymore. even if I add the png myself it still doesn't work right. Is this a new windows 10 thing or should I look elsewhere to fix this?

    Here's an example.. NoPng.PNG

If I have it in a zip folder though the .png and jpg is there but as soon as I place it into a folder or on my desktop its gone. Xi.PNG this is my zip folder as you can see the .png is there but the top image it's gone.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    Hi JadeG8,

    Welcome to the Forum.

If you are wanting to view the file extensions on your Desktop then:
    • Open File Explorer
    • Open the Desktop folder
    • In the top toolbar you'll see four tabs (File Home Share View). Click the View tab
    • Now in the pane beneath View check the box next to File name extensions
    • Close the File Explorer folders and now your Desktop files will display their .png etcetera.

      Sample Image

      Untitled.png

    Regards,
