SOLVED Projecting to this PC, audio and display problems.

I set up my two computers so as the laptop acts as a second monitor.
The setup is quick and establishes with no problems.

Windows 10 Home
10.0.17763
H.P. 24-b270nj
Intel i7-7700T
Memory -12 GB

Windows 10 Home
10.0 17134
H.P. laptop 15-da0xx
Intel i7-855OU
Memory - 8 GB

After making connection, the audio periodically breaks up, and at other times the display distorts for a few seconds. Very aggravating when I am trying to study something.
Any thoughts?

I discovered this was a trait of the extended display, so will close it out.
