Quick Question

I upgraded my Desktop( 1 yr old Envy 23) to Windows 10.
.checked my system information and it does say 10.0.10240
I was accessing a Website at the same time as a Friend to find a certain page.
He has a Lap Top which is also upgraded to Windows 10.
Although we both are registered and can access the Web Site, the pages came up
different.( very frustrating to try to co- utilize).
Is there an explanation for this, or is it a Web Site glitch?

And both machines were accessing the site with the same browser and add-on versions?

Well I thought I knew where I set up my browser. Every time i have what i think is a simple question/problem it seems to grow into more then I have time for...(sigh)
I thought I set up my browser as Chrome.. tried to find where listed... do not know where to look..( sigh again)
I am using old school AOL which I am well aware is old and outdated, but I have many files and do not have the time it would take to transfer and redo( really no time). So it is possible i still have AOL as my search engine.
I have Chrome on Computer as well is why not sure which one I am using.
Would a different browser to the same Web Site cause a different page set up?
As for the Add Ons, none would apply to this site. It is a business site only.
