Since a week or two I regularly get the message 'Click here to enter your most recent credentials. Your Microsoft account needs you to sign in again.'. When I click the message the window Account settings opens. Everything seems to be normal though.
I never changed my account password. How can I get rid of that message?

I get that every so often myself. When I changed to a Corsair RGB Keyboard I got that. I would not worry about it as long as you are still activated.

It is a bug in Windows 10.
Open Settings - Accounts - Sign in Options
Under " Password", click "Change" In the following, there is no need to change you password, if you do not wish to, you can re enter the same one.
You will be asked for your existing Microsoft Account password
Go through the process, insert a new password or keep your existing one,
At this stage, click cancel and go back out of the windows.

Apparently, this will allow the MS computer to see that the account has been verified.

I think I liked the old Verify button better.
Many things I liked better. A compulsion to move on with the times grips me - I have no idea why.
As a result of one of your other posts, tried the latest Mint. Perfect -But I am back here again.
