Reinstalled Win7, Updater broken?

I just wiped my drive and reinstalled W7HP to make it a nice place for Win10 to move into. First thing is to load 200 updates. It installed about half of them, then it said it was done. But in the listed of installed updates, the other half either says failed or canceled. There is also no mention of The Win10 reservation.

Is it possible that is just the wrong time to be downloading 200 updates from the Microsoft Update servers, three days before Win10 is set to release?
