I installed W 10 and was doing fine until I tried to do a restore. I was given the message that I would have to re-install some 30 apps, most of which were Intel and Hp apps. I did not want to this so I uninstalled W 10.

My question is has this been fixed so that NO apps need to be uninstalled to do a restore?

If so then I want to install W 10 again.

Please clarify.............
What do you mean by "restore".
Do you mean Reset?
Clean Install ?
Or something else ?

Would you mind disclose why you needed to do a "restore" ?

If you initial upgrade of Windows 10 was successful AND activated, you can re-install Windows 10 and you can keep your files, settings and apps.
Activation is also automatic.

All you need to do is to go to your Windows 10 ISO file > right click at it > click Mount > click Setup.exe.
Installation will begin.
