restoring customised columns in media player music library

Having finally and reluctantly 'upgraded' from Windows 7 to 10 I find that two 'custom columns' of data in my Windows Media Player music library have just been erased. Are these lost forever or might they be lurking somewhere? Believe me, we have looked everywhere!
