sd card

can't get my Dell Latitude lap top to recognize an sd card (or even respond at all) since downloading Windows 10. I Googled my question and downloaded some drivers from a website RtsXStor, but still nothing. Thanks for any help.

Try going directly to Dell Support
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Products/
Plug in your service tag number and download and install their driver for your Card Reader.

I had the same issue with my Realtec SD reader driver, went to their site and downloaded the newest one... installed it...went to device manager and clicked scan for hardware changes and all was good.
This was the only hiccup thus far that I've noticed with the upgrade.

Thanks for the info. Went to the Dell site and my laptop is not Windows 10 supported

Was there a W8/8.1 driver there? Failing that if you can find out who actually makes the drive...it won't be Dell... there might be a driver.

Agree with Tim and his recommendation, failing that you may have no alternative but to buy a USB SD card reader and go that route.
