Some time back I had managed to have the time and date appear on the desktop, faint, but legible. Recently, I tried making some changes in Windows 10 and I lost that time and date - I still have the one showing in the notification area. Any help?

Same here I don't have those settings
davehc my calendar and clock differs from yours?
Mine just shows settings at the bottom left, not Today's events. I wonder if it's a difference in Win ver. I'm running Win 10 Pro 64 bit.

I'm getting old. I have my Win 10 calendar programmed with events (birthdays - even dustbin emptying) Today there are no events. Win Pro 10
You may see a sign at the bottom right that says "show agenda." Click it and you get the calendar events

Are you using Windows 10? Gadgets were not included, without a hack.
