I don't want or need a password to sign in, I want only to go to my desktop right away.

Is there a way round this I already said no password, no password is still as I left it but yet Its still on password which I abhor!

I am the only user so go away password....

And afterwards you may need to adjust the following two settings so you don't end up getting the password prompt anyway, when your screen saver or power settings kick in.

I was sure it said somewhere we can sign in with a pin so for example ; day.month.yyyy but that did'nt work.

I'm learning all the time.

YES.... you should be able to go to the Start Button and click and select Settings -> Accounts -> Sign in Options (in left column)
AND configure a 4 digit PIN to use at signin

Its accepted the new pin dots and all.

If I don't arrive tomorrow I am locked out.
