OK I've installed 10 on 7 systems so far- 4 have been fine, 1 has a small issue, 1 is upgrading as I type and my Asus TransformerBook T200TA I had to roll back to 8.1 cause there's a long list of items in the Device Manager that don't have drivers yet.

Bit of history- 4 of the systems I got for nothing: 2 belonged to 2 of my grandsons (I just built them both i3-4160 rigs), 2 more were 2006-2008 Dell Optiplexs my son-in-law gave me (were from his business, he was going to play with them but had no time), 1 was another i3-4160 new build, my granddaughter's Foxconn nT535-0h0w-B-A-NA Mini and my T200TA.

The Optiplexs are a GX620 and a 760. The 620 I spent $5 and put a Pentium D 940 dual core in it cause the D 820 in it wouldn't work with Win 10, 760 has a Core2Duo 2.8Ghz. I had plenty of DDR2-800 memory laying around (yeah I'm a computer parts pack rat

) so bumped both from 4 to 8Gb. Put 120Gb Kingston SSDs in both (Newegg had a sale 2/$89 so I got 4), put GT730 2Gb passive cooled vid cards in them. They both were running Win 7 Pro x64. Ran all the updates till I got the Win 10 icon.

the 2 grandson's systems are a 2.5Ghz E5300 dual-core/4Gb ram/120Gb SSD/300Gb HDD/Radeon HD7750/Intel DG31PR mobo and a 2.9Ghz Athlon II X2-245/4Gb ram/120Gb SSD/500Gb HDD/Radeon HD6790/Biostar TA790GX-128M mobo. Were running 7 Pro x64.

i3 system is a Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 motherboard/Intel i3-4160 3.6Ghz dual-core CPU/8Gb DDR3-1600 memory/128Gb SSD boot drive/1Tb HDD/Zotac GTX 750Ti 2Gb video card.

Granddaughter's is a Foxconn nT535-0h0w-B-A-NA Mini / Booksize (Intel Atom D525 1.8 Ghz dual core, 4Gb memory, 350Gb HDD) Win 7 x86, upgrading going on right now. If it runs slow I have a 256Gb SSD I'll clone the HDD to.

The 2 Optiplex's , the grandson's old systems and the new i3 all upgraded to 10 Pro fine, the only issue is the Athlon II/Biostar system won't boot if AHCI is enabled, works great in IDE mode. I know I had to use the Microsoft AHCI driver on it in 7, figure 10 is using a AMD driver that doesn't work well?

My Transformerbook T200TA-C1, (Intel Z3795 1.6Ghz dual core, 4Gb ram, 64Gb internal storage, 64Gb SSD in keyboard dock) doesn't have all the x64 drivers yet. I read the 2Gb x86 version has had no issues upgrading to 10.

The upgrades have been a mix of install from MS via download and install from USB from an ISO. No problems with either method. The Athlon II would seem to install fine but on the 2nd reboot would give the "inaccessible boot device" error but would roll back to win 7 w/o any problems. Switched the mode from AHCI to IDE in 7, then the BIOS and 10 installed and runs fine. Tried enabling AHCI in Win 10 registry then in BIOS but still won't boot, gives that same error. Put the BIOS back in IDE, 10 boots up fine again. SSD in IDE mode still way faster than a HDD.

Foxconn mini did upgrade but does run a bit slow. Will try a clean install to the SSD tonight.
