Hi All and thanks in advance for the help,
I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and I am experiencing a strange audio issue I was hoping to get some help with.
I use my motherboards audio. I have an Asus Rampage Black Edition IV mobo, and the sound worked great on Windows 8.1 before upgrading. Since switching to Windows 10, upon startup the audio slider/mixer goes to 0 on its own. Every time I attempt to adjust the volume above 0, 2 seconds later it goes back down to 0 on its own! The actual audio works, when I turn the slider up I can hear music/videos but it automatically goes back to 0 a few moments later.
I don't think this is a realtek driver issue or anything because, as I said, the sounds WORKS when the slider isn't at 0. I switched keyboards and mouses to make sure that wasn't the issue as well. I am kind of lost on this one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
