Strange goings on

I have just had my Windows 8 upgraded to windows 10. I Didn't kike the e-mail with Windows 10, and installed Windows Live mail. Now there are some strange things happening. I can receive e-mails with 10 or 20 photos as part of the message, when I forward the e-mail on it comes up at the other end as a load of Gobbldy Gook, like this.

Are you using a MSN/Hotmail account?? if so that is where your problem is. Since the recent changes to hotmail, live, outlook.com Windows live mail does not work anymore like it should. I recommend an alternative like Mozilla's Thunderbird.

Actually it is a Telstra / Bigpond acc. The problem has suddenly appeared as if I had clicked something wrong which has caused the hassels.

You will have to unhide everything in the folder settings, to see this path:

Then go into C:\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

Delete the two folders, if you see them, Normal.dot (maybe dotm) and NormalEmail.dot -ditto.

Restart the computer and try the email again.

There is no problem with Live mail, unless you are trying to use it with Outlook mail. MS have changed the server for that program, which no longer links with Windows Live mail. Any other providers (Telstra etc) should be ok.
