stuck in windows 10 working in

it's a free upgrade from windows 8.1 to windows 10.
Reservation and downloading -- done
But installation doesn't proceed and stuck in preparation.
Any suggestion from the community..?

Let it sit. Takes awhile and if you try to rush it then problems are going to be the norm. I put my on at night then went to bed and when I got up at 1 am I noticed it needed my input so it takes a long time. What ever you do don't turn off PC and restart.

Agreed..... walk away.
Check it every couple hours or so and see if you need to click something.
