An update in late Feb 2018 couldn't be completed. Told to restart to add Windows 10 (but already running windows 10). I restarted, called for password. When I inserted password, told me password was incorrect. I changed password successfully and inserted new password. It was shown as incorrect. Did this 5 or 6 times to no avail. Microsoft virtually rendered my computer useless. It's an old one (version 1607 (OS build14393,1198) and had to buy a new one. Called Microsoft support (2 areas) and no one could fix it. Only option looked like take it to Geek squad at a cost est. of $200+. Any ideas on how to fix????
