SOLVED Unable to download Firefox or run Chrome

New system I built. Everthing works fine until I switch users to my other account. I cannot download Firefox; absolutely nothing happens. Further, Chrome did install but running it, even as Admin, does absolutely nothing. Don't understand what could be going on.

Hi Starkman,

This other account you set. Is it running in Windows 10 S mode?

If you are running this mode, then you won't be able to download apps not in Microsoft Store.

You can switch out of this mode for free. But you cannot then change your mind and switch back to Windows 10 S mode.

No, it's just a simple (non-admin) user account in order to access online banking not as an Admin.

Update:

I was in the standard account and checked Settings > Accounts: stated I needed to verify who I am. After I did that, all went well. So we're good.
