Are you seeing any hard disk light activity that would suggest that the system is still actively completing the upgrade?
It does take a long time by two hours seems a bit excessive.
The time needed is a relative thing, depending on the horsepower of the system, condition of and available space on the hard drive, it can take a while to finish.
Did you backup everything before performing the update?
