SOLVED Upgraded to 1903 - now file explorer is splitting my file lists

After an upgrade to v1903, when I open file explorer and display a folder in detail view, the display shows my files, but splits them up into 0-9, A-N, O-Z. I don't want that, I just want my list. See the attached file.

How do I go back to the old behaviour? Some folders display OK - but some don't.

Any help appreciated

I found it - it was the 'group by' setting. I changed it to 'none' and all is well.
