using the slider bar when Changing font size

Changing the font size is easy. I follow the directions. But when I try to move the slider bar it won't move no
matter what I do and no matter if it is black or green. It will let me change other options, such as landscape vs portrait. What is happening??? What I need most is to enlarge the tiles as I cannot read them at all. There is red type telling me that I must log out to change some settings. But when I loh out, obviously I can't do anything.

I had the same problem with my Dad's computer after I upgraded him to Windows 10. To solve it I had to log him out of his Microsoft account and create a new user name and password that was local to his PC. After that we were able to adjust things as we wanted to.
