volume icon

hello there

can anyone please tell me
the ICON for the volume control slider bar has suddenly disappeared from of my taskbar ??
I have tried looking in control panel - sounds - but that only puts a shortcut to a speaker on my desktop !!

I cannot find the volume control icon anywhere and I cannot find any reference in Programs to the volume control ?

I need to find this missing icon as when I am using SKYPE I have to turn up the volume to be able to hear the other
peoples incoming audio ??

Hi. Welcome to the forums,,moss.
Try this

Open settings - System - Notifications and actions.
On the right, select "Turn System icons on or off"
Make sure you have the volume icon selected
